This also includes helping families understand the special education process such as attending IEP or 504 meetings and collaborating with teachers and schools to address individual needs. Adoption subsidy program
SOS is a State of Michigan vendor and can provide, at no cost to parents and guardians, up to 5 hours of tutoring and educational services to students who have been in foster- care and adopted in Michigan.

SOS and Michigan Rehabilitation Services have teamed up and started a pilot program helping young women with disabilities in our community to build self-esteem, teamwork skills, and self-advocacy development to prepare for future employment.
We help determine needs and develop an individualized Plan of Action. Rates based on services provided.
