SOS Learning Lab, LLC is thrilled to be able to offer a brand new service to our community: Psychoeducational & Psychological Assessments!  Dr. Amelia Siders, an experienced Clinical Psychologist in our community, has joined the SOS team and is now offering a range of assessments for individuals and families.

List of Services (ages 12 and above)

 

Psychological and Educational Assessments:

• Learning Disability Assessment

• Autism Assessment

• Depression Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders

• ADHD Assessment

• Symptom Identification/Differential Diagnosis

• Trauma Assessment (Diagnosis focused, will not determine if abuse did or did not occur)

Substance Use Assessments:

• If there are additional mental health concerns, a dual diagnosis framework will be applied.

Career/Vocational Assessments

All assessments include a clinical interview, testing session, and feedback session with a review of the report and recommendations.

• Working from a "Not just what it is, but what is it not?" Framework

• Strength-based approach; using those strengths to address challenges that are identified

• Collaborative Approach; Multiple perspectives are important when trying to understand a client and their needs

• The Client and Caregivers are the "experts"

   SOS Learning Lab, LLC is a vendor with the State of Michigan which currently includes Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) and Grand Traverse Juvenile Court.

   Payment plans for private pay can be determined by contacting us directly.  Rates will depend on the scope of assessments necessary for each evaluation.
