Michigan Rehabilitation Services is host to a very wide range of services provided to our community and the whole state of Michigan. MRS has an impressive website listing all of the services they provide, but SOS mainly collaborates with the people at the Pre-Employment Transition Services, who are dedicated to helping people with disabilities succeed and thrive in their workplaces. These services are job exploration, work-based-learning experience, counseling of postsecondary education, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy training, including peer mentoring.

The mission of the DSANM is to provide support for individuals, families, and caregivers touched by Down syndrome. We offer hope, encouragement and acceptance through advocacy, education and awareness.

DSANM and SOS come together during the summer to provide a fun and learning-filled program for kids and teens with Down syndrome.

The National Cherry Festival's mission statement is: to celebrate and promote cherries, community involvement and the Grand Traverse region. Together we facilitate fun volunteer opportunities for our students and their families as the Cherry Festival Parade Operations Youth Volunteer Team.
